Spring

Finally, the flowers are in bloom, the pool cover is off, and it's warm outside! I have a lilac plant in my garden and was finally able to trim some of its branches and bring them inside. The whole kitchen smells warm and spring has sprung!

Trip to Cartier Exhibit

I went to the Cartier exhibit last weekend with my daughter and sister and had a great time.

The pieces were art. It wasn't just a necklace, or a bracelet, or a brooch. This jewelry was portable art! The Tutti-Frutti collection was delicious.

Cartier

Cartier has had an exhibit at the Legion of Honor, San Francisco since December 2009. I will finally be making my way over to see the most beautiful and historic pieces from the French jeweler. One of my good clients purchased me a book from the exhibit called "Cartier and America." Absolutely amazing. I have to go! Would it be distasteful to wear my own Cartier? ;)

Santa Cruz

I have been in Santa Cruz for the weekend and am still enjoying my time here even though it has been raining nonstop. The endless amounts of green and grey will definitely play an impact on the collection I am currently working on. Since arriving in this sleepy coastal town, I have been surrounded by woods and it is absolutely beautiful.

A Busy December

With Christmas Eve (the Big Day in Poland) in three days, my husband's birthday in two, and New Year's in a little over a week, all this cleaning and preparation around my home has left me with little time this month to work on new designs for the next season. But, yes, there is a but, I have finally finished a necklace that I have been working on this month with a goldsmith in the area. I am very happy with it. It's delicate and feminine, absolutely spot on.

I think I might try setting up a store on my website. Would anyone be interested in this?

Kelly Clarkson

Kelly Clarkson purchased a few of my necklaces this month. How exciting! It makes me feel amazing to know that young independent women are wearing my pieces. So, in the spririt of Christmas and all things Kelly, I leave you with this:

Miley Cyrus

I'm happy to announce that Miley Cyrus bought one of my pieces at the Blues Jean Bar on Santana Row before her concert in San Jose! Miley chose a very simple silver necklace with a silver tusk charm and Swarovski crystal.
