A Busy December

With Christmas Eve (the Big Day in Poland) in three days, my husband's birthday in two, and New Year's in a little over a week, all this cleaning and preparation around my home has left me with little time this month to work on new designs for the next season. But, yes, there is a but, I have finally finished a necklace that I have been working on this month with a goldsmith in the area. I am very happy with it. It's delicate and feminine, absolutely spot on.
I think I might try setting up a store on my website. Would anyone be interested in this?

Kelly Clarkson purchased a few of my necklaces this month. How exciting! It makes me feel amazing to know that young independent women are wearing my pieces. So, in the spririt of Christmas and all things Kelly, I leave you with this:

Photo Shoot

We spent all of yesterday taking photos of my new pieces for the website, they should be up there this weekend if all goes according to plan. Even though it was so hot, it was great working with the whole Flint Team and to have everyone's input.

A few of the pieces that I've finished include the vintage treasures I had mentioned previously. In the image below(my beautiful daughter Natalie is the model ) I am adding the last touches to a necklace made with vintage watches that have old and delicate engravings on the backs of them. Right after this candid shot we got down to business.

This summer has been very exciting! With the high demand I've had for my Summer pieces I've been locked up in my studio for days.
I've had ideas for my Fall collection drifting around for awhile now. I just recently got back from Carnelian Bay with my close girl friends and our daughters, we went to a few antique stores in Tahoe City and I was bombarded with such colorful ideas. This Fall for me will be nostalgic. Lots of flowers and feminine touches, glass crystals, oxidized sterling silver, bronze, old watches, and vintage brooches! All of this has been turning and twisting in my mind since my trip!

(By the way, I am the one in the gray shirt)

I've arrived on the blog scene

Hello everyone, I have finally gotten around to creating my first blog!
I hope to use it as a place for announcements about my line and about any upcoming events. I'll even post little updates about the jewelry scene and inspirational motives.

Can't wait to start!
